Hey it sounds like you had fun in Japan ^_^
I ate shabu-shabu when I was in Korea a couple years back and LOVED IT *_* So was this trip something arranged by your school (seeing as how your friends travelled with you)? Or did you go with your family?

Yes, its arranged by the school. Only 10 selected people from our batch and 10 other from the batch ahead of us were selected. I didn't travel with family.. I stayed with some host family. Hahaha!

I wish my school did cool stuff like that..but then if it did then the trip would cost so much and it'll be hell going through the paperwork stuff -__-

Heh. Yeah, the paperwork was kinda annoying. But really, the trip was soooo worth the hell we went through. I mean, we even had to prepare a dance presentation that took 6 minutes just to present for their International Day Celebration. And my study time was cut short because of all the practices. We go home from school at like 6:30 or worse, 7 pm. And we even practice on Sundays! LOL.
